Cupid’s Message Arrow – A Small Gesture That Says It All
Cupid’s Message Arrow is a charming Valentine’s Day decoration designed to deliver a message straight from the heart. Inspired by classic Cupid symbolism, this small arrow attaches to smooth surfaces using a suction cup, making it easy to place on mirrors, windows, tiles, or any spot where a surprise will be noticed.
This is made for the little moments that hit the hardest. For example: I planned to surprise my partner on Valentine’s morning by placing a few arrows on the bathroom mirror and leaving a simple question like “Will you be my Valentine?” Something small, but unforgettable. I also used the heart version to point at a photo of her, just as a quiet reminder of who it’s all for.
There are two visual variants to choose from. One features a heart detail for a clean, romantic look. The other includes a removable sign, allowing you to write or swap messages whenever you like. The writable sign works with both variants, so you can mix and match depending on the mood or occasion.
Both versions are designed to be printed without AMS, making them easy to print in a single color while still looking great as a finished piece. The focus is on the gesture, not complexity. Print it, place it, and let the message do the rest.
A small arrow, a personal message, and a simple way to make someone feel chosen.
Important Notes
As with all 3D prints, tolerances can vary slightly depending on printer, material, and settings. If any parts feel tight, lightly sand or trim, test the fit again, and only glue once everything sits perfectly.
A small amount of glue is recommended to secure the parts for a clean and durable final result.
The V2 arrow includes a built-in alignment guide that helps position the wings symmetrically, making assembly easier and ensuring a balanced, polished look.
Assembly (Suction Cup Fit)
The suction cup is designed to fit very tightly on purpose. This helps the arrow stay stable on smooth surfaces and prevents it from “hanging” or drooping when mounted on a mirror or window.
To insert it fully, you may need a little extra pressure:
- Start by pushing about half of the suction cup into place using your fingers.
- Then use a tweezer (or a similar tool) to press the remaining edge down until it seats completely.
- Twisting will help (the suction cup not you :p)
Once it’s fully inserted, the suction cup will hold firmly and the arrow will sit cleanly against the surface.
