I needed a Bezel for my ADX5, to keep it from LCD sliding off. Needed something deep to make it hit the back enclosure So I used OpenSCAD and its parameters, to setup my Bezel. Though I would share it, since its parameterized
There is an option to add a name section so you can name your bezel or printers. You can also add small clips to lock it in place.
The parameters:
- Inside Depth (mm) - depth from front to make. The clip if added will add to the depth
- Inside Width (mm) - how wide is the bezel
- Inside Height (mm) - how high is the bezel
- corner radius (mm) - how much to round the corners, to tight and it wont fit
- wall thickness (mm) - how thick are the walls.
- lip width (mm) - how wide to make the overhang
- clip sides - if you want retention clips, none, 4 sides, top/bottom,. left/right
- width of clips (mm) - how wide to make the clips
- depth of clips (mm) - how deep to make them, note to deep and it won't fit.
- name plate width (mm) - how wide to make name plate (width ≤ 0 no plate)
- name plate height (mm) - how high to make name plate (height ≤ 0 no plate)
- name plate radius (mm) - how much to curve the edges
- name plate offset (mm) - how far back to set name plate, most likely will require supports.
Note: if you use the name plate, add the name in the slicer, then flip over and print face down.
Note: the included X1C bezel was an example, it is off by 1mm in both directions, and is a little loose.
