Descrição
This is a complete Computer Case platform based on the OpenGrid mounting framework and ecosystem.
It relies on the clips and OpenGrids generated by Jan's Parametric Generator as they use the BOSL2 generated snap pins instead of the original OpenGrid Clips. This choice was made as they appear more stable than the original OpenGrid snap pins when mounted in a 3D space.
Component models are released as they are considered stable enough to not have to be reprinted by users.
It is strongly adviced to use the OpenSCAD generators to get the latest available updates to the components.
The project is rebranded to OpenGrid Computer Case (OGCC) to improve SEO and avoid the unrelated concepts branded EXCase.

Sizes and Limitations
OpenGrid squares are 28mm each.
OpenGrid Corners are 17.4mm wide each.
Cases can be created in any sizes, the rigidity of the plastic of choice is the limiting factor.
However accessory panels will primarily be designed for width of 5
| Case Style | Dimension | OpenGrid Units | OpenGrid Width (mm) | Total Width (mm) (incl. Corners) | Comment |
| All | Width | 5 | 140mm | 174.8mm | Classic ATX |
| All | Width | 6 | 168mm | 202.8mm | Modern ATX (required for most tower coolers) |
| ITX (No Cards) | Height | 5 | 140mm | 174.8mm | Min. Possible Value |
| ITX (2 Cards) | Height | 8 | 224mm | 258.8mm | |
| Height | 9 | 252mm | 286.8mm | ||
| Micro-ATX (4 Cards) or ITX (2 Cards + AIO) | Height | 10 | 280mm | 314.8mm | |
| Height | 11 | 308mm | 342.8mm | ||
| ATX (7 Cards) | Height | 12 | 336mm | 370.8mm | |
| Height | 13 | 364mm | 398.8mm | ||
| ATX (7 Cards + AIO) | Height | 14 | 392mm | 426.8mm | |
| ITX Only | Depth | 7 | 196mm | 230.8mm | Min. possible value for ITX |
| All | Depth | 8 | 224mm | 258.8mm | Min. recommended value for ITX Min. possible value for other cases |
| All | Depth | 9 | 252mm | 286.8mm | Min. recommended value for other cases |
| All | Depth | 11 | 308mm | 342.8mm | |
| All | Depth | 10 | 280mm | 314.8mm | |
| All | Depth | 12 | 336mm | 370.8mm | |
| All | Depth | 13 | 364mm | 398.8mm | |
| All | Depth | 14 | 392mm | 426.8mm | |
| All | Depth | 15 | 420mm | 454.8mm | Recommended size for full scale Micro-ATX or ATX boards with 5.25" Front Bays |
Adding a front panel 5.25" Drive Bay requires approximately 5 extra grid spaces in the depth direction.
Adding a custom front panel adds another grid space to the build depth.
Components for OpenGrid Computer Cases
Base Components
Jan's Parametric OpenGrid Generator to generate grids
Jan's OpenGrid Corners for the case edges
Jeremy.ste Angled Connectors (remix from KYZ Design) to reinforce stability
Motherboard Side (Side A)
Motherboard Standoff Snaps for the basic members of the ATX family (ITX, mATX and ATX) are released. They require M3 heated inserts in the M3x5x3 (Voron Style) configuration. They are marked with alphanumeric coordinates where alphabet represents the X axis and numbers the Y axis. A1 is placed in the top-left corner.

Back Panels
Boards for mATX or ATX motherboards that attaches with other OpenGrids and corners using BOSL2 pin snaps. Distance is properly aligned with Motherboard Standoffs when using Jan's Corners or Jeremy.ste's angled connectors.
Tip! For a sturdier/stiffer print, it is possible to trade in future flexibility by combining the I/O Panel, Expansion Card Board and an Accessory Board in your slicer or CAD tool of choice.

Components under Planning
In the end, there will be exports for components in 5 and 6 tiles width. This will help getting things centered in odd/even configurations.
You can always expand further by carefully joining grids in the slicer.
- Magnetic Side Panel Arrangement
- 3.5" and 2.5" Internal Drive Arrangements
