A case for the Steam Deck that contains a passthrough to allow for charging while in the case. Meant to be used with my Steam Deck Charge Port Support model.

Required Parts:
2x M4x30 Socket Head Screws

2x M4 Threaded Inserts

8x M4 Washers

CA Glue or any type of super glue that works with your printed material

Assembly Instructions:

1. Print All Build Plates

2. Install Skeletons

2a. The top and bottom shells are held together by the skeleton frameworks you printed. These frameworks are glued into place using the notches that exist in the interior of the top and bottom shells. You may need to use a hammer to get the skeleton to go in all the way. I intentionally made this a very tight fit since it is a key structural element.

3. Install the Hinges

3a. Each hinge uses an M4x30 Socked Head Screw and an M4 threaded insert.

3b. First install the threaded insert on the hinge hole facing inward on both sides of the top shell.

3c. Run the M4x30 from the outside hinge hole, through the bottom hinge hole, and then into the threaded insert. While doing this place 2 washers between each shell to shell connection. So the final arrangement for the screw will go: Outer Top Hinge → 2 washers → Bottom Hinge → 2 Washers → Inner Top Hinge → Threaded insert

4. Latch “Hooks” need to be glued in place and need to be in a specific orientation.

4a. Bottom Latch Hook (The one that is “U” shaped) needs to be installed so that the shorter leg is above the other longer leg. The model is setup so that this piece will only install correctly if its in this orientation. But double check to make sure.

4b. The Top Latch Hook should be installed so that the opening on the hook is pointed upward.

4c. The “open” part of the Latch itself then snaps on to the Top Latch Hook.
