Descrição
Hello and welcome to my first post.
ModuLight is a modular lamp powered by an LED strip.
My version is 7 modules high, but the design is fully modular — you can build it with 2 modules or more, depending on your preference.
Below you will find the manual for printing and assembling the lamp.
Printing Instructions
You need to print each part once, except for:
- MainBody
- MainPipe
These two parts must be printed (n − 1) times, where n is the number of modules you want to build.
Required Parts
You will need the following components:
- LED strip (USB-powered, preferably USB-A so the cable can be routed through the center hole)
- 7 moduls 3m
- Ø30 mm wooden rod
- Length calculation:
125 mm + 100 mm × (n − 1)
(n = number of modules)
- Length calculation:
Example:
For a 7-module lamp, I used:
- A 725 mm long wooden rod
- The LED strip wrapped one rotation every 30 mm
Diffuser
As a diffuser, you can use baking paper:
- 3 layers worked best for me
Tested with 2700 K warm white LEDs
Thank you and happy Printing!
