Wardrobe Rod Hook – For Standard Oval Rods (30 × 15 mm)

This is a simple and sturdy hook designed for standard wardrobe rods with an oval cross-section of 30 × 15 mm, as shown in the reference image. The model is based on a real, commercially available hook that I took inspiration from and then recreated and optimized for 3D printing.

The hook clips securely onto the rod and can be used for hanging clothes, bags, accessories, or other lightweight to medium-weight items in a wardrobe or closet.

Dimensions:

• Designed for oval wardrobe rods: 30 mm (height) × 15 mm (width) with some clearance
• Fits common European-style closet rods

Printing Recommendations:

• Material: ASA (recommended)
  I printed this model in ASA for improved strength, durability, and temperature resistance.
• PLA is NOT recommended, as it may deform or crack over time under load, especially in warmer environments.
• PETG may work, but ASA/ABS gave the best results in my testing.
• No supports required
• Print orientation: as provided in the model
