Modular Crystal Scepter

This Modular Crystal Scepter is an original design, inspired by my popular Resident Evil lamp, reimagined as a fully customisable fantasy scepter. Every section has been designed with modularity in mind, allowing different variations of each part to be swapped and upgraded over time.

Each section is threaded for easy assembly, making the build straightforward while keeping everything secure without complicated hardware. The modular design means this scepter can evolve — with new heads, cores, and handle styles to make it fully customisable.

 Printing & Assembly

• Supports are required for:
  • The crown
  • The helix
• Supports are designed to be easy to remove
• Printed using Bambu PLA Glo Green and Glo Blue
• All parts are hollowed out and use 3 walls, keeping weight low while allowing space for electronics
• Glue is only needed to fix the jewels into the crown
• All other parts simply screw together

💡 LED Compatibility

Every part is hollow, allowing you to add LED strip lighting for a true glowing effect.

• Recommended filament: Bambu translucent filament for maximum light diffusion
• LED strips can be tricky to feed through the helix, so here’s a quick tip 👇

Quick LED Tip:
Thread a 50 cm piece of scrap filament through one of the helix channels first.
Tape one end of the LED strip to the filament, then gently pull it through while guiding the LED at the same time.
With a little technique, you can make it look easy — I promise 

The core, crystal, and handle window have been designed hollow to make LED installation much simpler.
