This model is a replica of the Worksharp RMX Reverse Tanto, which was praised by renowned knife designer and connoisseur Ken Onion as one of the best folding knives of 2025.

It retains many features of the original, including a button lock, a one-piece handle, a reversible pocket clip, and can even be modified into a side-opening automatic knife (switchblade). Of course, due to the limitations of 3D printing, this model is only suitable for light-duty tasks.

The model is simple to print and requires minimal support. However, to reduce printing errors caused by the one-piece handle design, I have manually added some supports. These can be snapped off firmly after printing. It is recommended to print directly from the 3MF file I have provided.

Assembly requires the following additional hardware:

Blade: A utility knife blade from Stanley.

Screws and Nuts: 1 M3-6mm screw, 1 M3-16mm screw, 1 M3-18mm screw, and 3 M3 nuts.

Spring: A spring with a diameter of approximately 4.5–5mm and a length of about 10mm. You can likely find a similar spring inside a ballpoint pen—just cut a suitable section to use.

If you wish to modify it into a side-opening automatic knife (switchblade), you will need a pair of tweezers and a rubber band with a diameter of approximately 20mm.

The modification is relatively difficult and requires dexterous hands and some patience. It is not recommended for beginners. The modification method is demonstrated in a video tutorial. If you are interested, you may watch it to understand the process before deciding whether to proceed with the modification.

2.Install the white blade holder into the green handle.

3,Install the white right-side pivot axle assembly, ensuring it aligns with the internal slot.

4.Place the spring around the bottom of the red locking pin column, then insert the assembly into the green handle.
 

5.Cover with the left-side white pivot axle part, again aligning it with the internal slot. Secure it using the M3-16mm screw and nut.

6Attach the pocket clip using the M3-18mm screw and nut. It can be mounted on either the left or right side

7.Secure the blade in place using the M3-6mm screw through the green part. Assembly is now complete.
