Credits: Firstly, all hail Xelinor, the almighty creator of the Snapkeep Deckbox System, which serves as the foundation for this dice contraption.
The Project: In my quest to store, organize, and transport a massive amount of dice alongside my decks, I created these specialized inserts. My previous version still works great, this isn't an upgrade to it - it's a different product altogether.
By utilizing the Double Commander Deckbox body from the Snapkeep Deckbox System, this rendition significantly expands capacity more than the first remix by utlizing a custom lid, removing the need for a Gamegenic Slidecase to serve as the "roof."
Note: Xelinor included a great dice box in the original set, so check that out if you only need a few dice. But if you need to carry an army, read on.

How it Works
This system is designed specifically for the Double Commander Deckbox body. While my first remix used the Single Commander Deckbox box, this one maximizes the deeper Double Commander Deckbox.
Plate Breakdown:
- Plate 1 (Mixed Capacity): Drops into the Double Commander body.
- 12mm Rack: Holds 42 "mini" dice (Chessex style).
- 16mm Rack: Holds 20 "standard" dice (Amazon MTG Counter dice, etc.).
- Center Hole: Rounded storage for d20s and extras.
- Plate 2 (Max Mini Capacity): Drops into the Double Commander body.
- Dual 12mm Racks: Houses a staggering 84 mini dice.
- Center Hole: Even larger than Plate 1—it’ll hold another 50+ dice if you’re really committed.
- Plate 3 (The Lid): A custom-designed lid for the Double Commander body.
- Design: Features a full "roof." I recommend using an interface material for the supports.
- Note: My profile is set for PETG with a PLA Interface (0mm Top Interface Spacing). If you don't have an AMS/multi-material setup, be sure to adjust these settings before printing!
- Plate 4 (The Body): This is Xelinor's original Double Commander Deckbox body. Provided for convenience; if you already have one printed, you don't need to print this again.
Long Story Short: It’s a three-part system. You need a Snapkeep Double Commander Body (you may already have one sitting around), the Lid (Plate 3), and your choice of Insert (Plate 1 or 2).

FAQ & Tips
Can I use this insert with a Gamegenic Slidecase as the lid? No. To cram in that extra row of 12mm dice, I had to make the lid thinner than a Slidecase to maximize vertical clearance.
Which remix should I choose? If you primarily use 16mm dice, check out my first remix. This new version focuses almost entirely on maximizing 12mm mini-dice capacity. Even with Xelinor's help, we couldn't create enough height to stack an extra 16mm row in..
Will it print in multiple colors/patterns like the photos? The sample photos shown utilized an AMS setup with predetermined filament swaps. The file itself will print in a single color unless you configure your own swaps or magic in the slicer. (If you want a custom rasied graphic lid, let me know!)
I'm nervous about printing the "Full Roof" on the lid. Go for it! At worst, you'll have some support cleanup on the underside. Since it's the interior of the lid, it won't be visible once the box is closed, and your dice will be banging against it anyway.
Does filament choice matter? Whatever you're comfortable with. If you can handle the print-in-place hinges on the original Snapkeep box, these parts will be easy. I’ve tested with various materials; the profile lists PLA only because I used it as an interface material for my PETG prints.
