Bambu Lab Bed Scraper with Hex Bit Attachment

This is a hex bit version of the Bambu Labs scraper. I had an unused Wera hex bit driver handle and thought it would work well if I could use it as a handle for my scraper which I use a lot. It works amazingly well. It makes such a difference to pick up and use a quality hand tool.

This uses a standard hex bit and will work with any hex bit handle. Just find an unused hex bit and use that to insert into your printed scraper and you are good to go. The hex bit you use needs to have a standard hex profile the entire length of the shaft. A round shaft will not work. I just used an old flat head hex bit. I included screen shots of the size of the one I used. The short hex bits are probably too short to work, but if you have a longer one, then nearly any length should work.

I did also design a gridfinity tray to hold my frankenstein Wera / Bambu Labs Scraper. If you use the same hex bit length I did, then the tray will likely work for you. The gridfinity tray can be found here.

The model as pictured was printed with Bambu Labs Black PETG HF. The overall length of the scraper with the Wera handle as pictured above is similar to other fully 3d printed scraper models. The angle of the blade is exactly the same as the original Bambu Lab model.
