These legs are printed with wood-infused filament and designed around a heavy-duty steel bolt, ensuring they won't snap under the weight of your furniture.

Key Features

• Authentic Wood Aesthetic: Printed using Walnut Wood PLA. This filament is infused with actual wood powder, allowing for a deep, natural texture that can even be sanded or stained.  
• Hybrid Strength: While the exterior looks like handcrafted wood, the core is a 6” steel hex bolt. All structural weight is transferred directly through the metal, making the plastic housing a decorative but durable shield.
• Floor Protection Integrated: The design includes a recessed cavity at the bottom. I highly recommend adding a felt sticker here; it perfectly hides the bolt head and ensures your floors remain scratch-free.
• Grounded Stability: Lowering the center of gravity makes your sofa feel more solid and prevents the "tipping" sensation sometimes found with tall, spindly legs.

• Bolt: 3/8"-16 Thread, 6" Long Zinc-Plated Hex Head Screw (McMaster-Carr #91309A648).
• Base Pad: Heavy-Duty Felt Pads (1" or 1.5" depending on your scaled size).

Recommended Print Settings

Pro Tip for the "Wood" Look

After printing, you can lightly sand the surface with 220-grit sandpaper. This brings out the wood fibers in the Elegoo Wood PLA, giving it a matte, fibrous feel that is indistinguishable from real walnut from a distance.
