After I had a Total Knee Replacement (TKR) I went to eight weeks of Physical Therapy where I was instructed to do various exercises to stretch muscles and ligaments and regain strength in my legs. It was highly encouraged to continue to do many of these exercises at home to keep making progress in regaining full use of my legs. Several exercises used blocks on the floor to help stretch my hamstrings and quadriceps muscles. With the blocks I would step up and back down for a series of repetitions (usually 20) or just place my toes on the blocks and then raise and lower myself. I found these exercises extremely helpful in my recovery. So, I designed a set of stepping blocks, with varying heights as I progressed, that I could use at home. The set includes block heights of 38mm, 64mm, and 96mm (1 ½”, 2 ½”, and 3 ¾”).
I printed these blocks in ABS but PETG should also provide the strength needed.
Print one of the heights, try it for yourself, and see if they help you in your recovery.
