I wanted a 500g fractional plate but didn't want to pay for shipping

A weightlifting buddy suggested we use full spools on each side of the bar

I realised a much stupider, but significantly more fun option

Modeled a doughnut

Set the infill until I got 500g of filament use

Hit print

(then realised that the estimate in Bambu Studio was slightly overestimating, so bumped up the infill just a touch more)

Is this actually cheaper than buying real weights? Probably not…

Is it stupid? Definitely!

Does it work? Yes!
