Gridfinity storage bin for Pinecil V2 soldering iron and tip

The bin will take a standard Pinecil V2 soldering iron or one where the screws have been modified with thumb turn screws. 

The addition of thumbscrews does make it easy to change the tip and prevents the tiny screws from stripping so this is worth considering (see here). It will also store a pinecil or TS100 tip next to it.

The box is stackable and works well with my tip storage bins which take three tips. and are shown in one of the photos.

Base used is gridfinity with pin,  compatible with normal gridfinity but also compatible with gridfinity with pin allowing it to click into place without the need for any magnets. This gives you more flexibility and when clicked into a base in your toolbox are very solid.

I printed in Bambu PLA and it's come out very nicely. Obviously don't but hot tips in the boxes although I think you'd notice when removing the tips from the iron!

Print Instructions

• Filament : PLA works really well, but you could use anything
• Infill: As per profile works great but you can easily reduce it by a few percent as nothing is under stress with this
