This clip is designed to lock the folding wings of a drying rack when it is stored in a vertical position, preventing them from accidentally unfolding.

It solves a simple but annoying household problem — especially useful in small spaces where drying racks are stored upright against a wall.

Print recommendations

• Recommended material: PETG
  This part is under constant stress during use.
  PLA may become brittle over time and can crack, especially if the clip is frequently installed and removed.
• Perimeters / walls: 4 walls recommended for better strength and durability
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 20–30%
• Supports: not required
• Adhesion tip: if you experience bed adhesion issues, adding a brim is recommended

Fit & compatibility

• Designed for round tubing with a diameter of 12.5 mm
• Fits standard foldable drying racks with similar arm geometry
  (tolerances may vary slightly between manufacturers)

Notes

• For best durability, print with good layer adhesion
• If your drying rack uses a different tube diameter, scaling the model may be required
