Descrição
StackEgg is a clean, stackable egg rack designed to look good, save space, and make everyday use simple. I’ve been using it daily for over three months, and it just works.
Printing Instructions
This model is split into two main parts: the base and the handles.
The base is available in two sizes:
- 9-egg base — designed for smaller build plates (ideal for printers like the Bambu A1 mini)
- 12-egg base — standard size for regular build volumes
The handles are the same for both versions and are fully interchangeable.
Recommended Settings
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Walls: 3 perimeters
- Top / Bottom layers: 6
- Infill:
- Honeycomb 5%
- Lightning infill 15% also works perfectly
This setup creates a strong, solid, and durable part, while keeping print time and material usage efficient (as used in the print profiles).
Materials
- Tested successfully with PLA and PETG
- Both materials provide excellent strength and fit
Assembly
- Tool-free snap-fit assembly
- Fully intuitive and error-proof
- Handles can be installed in any order or orientation
- Pay attention to the side that was touching the build plate if you want a specific face oriented inward or outward
Fit & Tolerances
- Tolerances are intentionally tight
- A firm press-fit is expected and ensures stability when stacked
Description
StackEgg is a clean and practical stackable egg rack designed to organize eggs efficiently while saving space in your kitchen or fridge. Its vertical stacking design allows you to expand storage upward instead of outward, making it ideal for countertops, shelves, and refrigerators of any size. The minimalist look keeps the focus on function, while still fitting naturally into modern, simple, or utilitarian kitchen setups.
StackEgg is composed of two simple parts: a base and interchangeable handles. The base is available in two versions — a compact 9-egg layout for smaller printers and a standard 12-egg layout for regular build volumes — while the handles remain the same for both options. This approach keeps printing simple, reduces duplication, and allows easy scaling by stacking multiple units as needed.
This egg holder was tested in real kitchen use over several months and refined for reliability, durability, and ease of printing. Compatible with standard FDM printers, it works well with PLA or PETG and requires no special slicer settings. Whether used as a single egg rack or stacked to increase capacity, StackEgg is a functional 3D printable kitchen organizer designed to simply work — day after day.
