I designed this modular, interlocking drying rack to safely dry wine glasses, cups, and other drinking vessels while keeping them organised and well-spaced. The racks interlock for stable drying and easily stack for storage, allowing them to be packed away neatly in a drawer or cupboard when not in use.

Why I Made It

Drying delicate glassware or cups on a towel or crowded rack often leads to water spots, poor airflow, or accidental knocks. I wanted a solution that:

• Allows vessels to dry upside down properly
• Keeps items separated and stable
• Works for more than just wine glasses
• Uses minimal bench space
• Packs away efficiently when not needed

The modular design means you can use as many or as few sections as required.

Sizes & Compatibility

Two rack sizes are included. Both sizes interlock with each other, but are optimised for different opening diameters:

Small Size

Suitable for vessels with opening diameters of:

• 5.0 – 5.6 cm
• 7.0 – 7.6 cm
• 9.0 – 10.2 cm

Large Size

Suitable for vessels with opening diameters of:

• 6.2 – 6.8 cm
• 7.8 – 8.6 cm
• 9.6 – 10.6 cm

These ranges cover most wine glasses, tumblers, mugs, and similar drinkware.
