I love the outdoors, but I also like being comfortable when I camp. I started carrying a lightweight camp chair last year, but wanted to have a small table to cook off of and prepare food and work on gear. There are not a lot of lightweight tables on the market that pack well into a backpack. So I came up with my own design. This one is a 3 piece design you can completely print, or there is the option to print the tent pole knuckle and use 4 of the below tent poles. The silver smaller end fits through the top of the table and can adjusted for uneven terrain.
You will need O-rings for this as well. I had some larger 1-1.5 inch O-ring laying around that I modeled it off of. They are just there is add some friction for the tent poles from slipping.
I am still working on another revision to add a few more features, but wanted to get this version out there and see what people thought. These pack up flat and fairly small in a pack. There is a version that allows a cup to sit on the side for a little extra room. There are recesses for both 4oz and 8oz camp fuel stoves. Slots to hang sporks or knives, t-slots on the end to hang a garbage bag or gear from. There are tabs on the legs if you wish to bungee or stake it to the ground to keep it from tipping over. I secure the table top with 4 hair ties I stole from my daughters. Table weighs about 500 grams as is printed. I will try to release the lighter weight version here soon.
Printed in both PLA and PETG. PETG holds up better especially if being used in harsher environments like hot/cold.
