SPIRAGET SET | The Complete Spring-Thread Collection
About the Design
While experimenting with alternative thread geometries based on spirals and springs, I discovered how surprisingly satisfying simple axial motion can be.
Unlike traditional mechanical threads, a spring-based spiral creates a softer, more organic tactile response — somewhere between rotation and compression.
The Spiraget Set is a collection of seven print-in-place fidgets, each exploring a slightly different balance between resistance, smoothness, texture, and rhythm.
Each model offers its own “personality” — from tight, deliberate motion to fast, playful spinning.

🔍 The 7 Models Breakdown
30 mm — The Minimalist
Small, compact, and straightforward.
Tight tolerances create a deliberate, controlled motion.
70 mm Tight — The Challenge
An elongated version of the 30 mm model with very small gaps for a premium, resistance-heavy feel.
Identification: two shallow grooves on the top cap.
70 mm Loosen — The Reliable
Same geometry as the Tight version, but with slightly increased clearances for guaranteed free movement.
55 mm — The Smooth Medium
A balanced mid-size model with generous gaps, designed for fast and effortless spinning.
47 mm Textured — The Signature
Features the same spherical micro-node texture used in Rotaget and Threadget.
Tactile, grippy, and intentionally tight.
47 mm Low-Poly — The Happy Accident
A faceted variation born during an import mishap — retained for its unique look and surprisingly smoother motion compared to the smooth-surface version.
54 mm Buzz — The Decorative
Decorative grooves along the spiral itself create a subtle buzzing vibration during motion.

Different filaments or altered settings may cause temporary sticking.
First Move
Some models are intentionally snug. Apply a firm initial twist to break the static bond — all models have been physically tested and verified to move.
Optional Upgrade
A single drop of silicone oil transforms the motion into a silent, hydraulic-like glide.
