⚙️ Quick Customization Guide

Custom Layout String (Custom_layout)

This string maps your grid cells (Column x Rows) to compartment IDs. Cells assigned the same ID will automatically merge into a single, larger compartment.

• Format: Each row is separated by commas, and numbers/characters represent compartment IDs.

  • "Row1 IDs,Row2 IDs,Row3 IDs"

     

• Example for a 3x4 grid: “0012,0013,4113”
  • Compartment ID 0 is a 2x2 cell block in the top-left.
  • Compartment ID 1 is a 1x2 cell block spanning the first and second row.
  • ...and so on!

Interior Rounding Layout (Interior_rounding_layout)

This parameter controls which compartments receive a rounded bottom (fillet). Use this to remove the fillet for a compartment to improve the fit if you intend to add foam in that compartment.

• Format: A string of 0s and 1s, matching the order of your unique compartment IDs.
  • 1 = Use the defined Interior_tray_bottom_fillet_value.

  • 0 = Do not use a fillet.

     

• Example: "101111" maps 5 ids like “id0 id1 id2 id3 id4” means the first compartment ID (in this case id0) gets a fillet, the second (id1) does not, and the rest do. (This could be used to remove the fillet to facilitate foam in the second compartment, but still keep fillets in others).

• This model has not been extensively stress-tested for every possible parameter combination. If you find bugs, issues, or have questions, feel free to ask or leave feedback.

   

• Print settings:
  • Recommended layer height: 0.2mm
  • Supports: Only needed if printing compartment covers.

  • If using small images or text, consider enabling "Detect thin walls" in the "Strength" tab, or change the wall generator to "Arachne" for better detail.
