Descrição
This is a modular unit that perfectly holds bullet pixel LEDs light projects. Any bullet pixel LED lights will snap right into this printed part. This is a 5 x 5 pixel unit similar to a previous 4 x 4 pixel I posted previously (https://makerworld.com/en/models/1009527-pixel-led-light-matrix?from=search#profileId-988818). The big advantage to this one is that it can evenly use up 100 pixel strings since each module holds 25 lights.
This is great for matrix LED projects using Xlights like Christmas light projects.
It has a 45mm by 45mm (approx 1.75" by 1.75") square pixel spacing. The best part is the modular setup allows you to stack the pixel modules to make different types of shapes. I used the vertical modules to make a tall matrix like I've done with front porch pillars or long matrix. You can also use the them in combination to make squares and rectangle shapes.
It also has a good way of attaching the modules is using zip ties as shown in the pictures. It also has clips to keep the back wiring in place and not visible from the front.
I've printed nearly 50 of these for large LED light displays and have been very happy with the result. I've been printing in Strength mode most of the time but works fine in standard .2 as well. I've had good success with PLA but if outside in direct sunlight you may want to go with PETG.
I've used pixels such as this link but any bullet pixels will do ok.
