Compatible with classical, electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, as well as ukuleles.
If you encounter any incompatibility, just send feedback—I’ll create a new size for you in a short time ;)
After printing, rotate the winding part for a few turns so the two parts naturally smooth themselves, resulting in an easy-to-turn joint.
The joint responsible for the cutting action is intentionally designed with friction, but you should still open and close it a few times to ensure some leftover material from printing is cleared and the mechanism works smoothly.
The model comes with custom supports and brims, optimized for maximum print stability, minimal print time, and higher overall quality. A support-free version is also available via the “Download STL & CAD files” button.
The handle features a knurled grip pattern, with smooth top and bottom faces to prevent printing issues. This provides both a minimalist look and excellent handling.
Note: Due to the knurling pattern, downloading the STL or print profile may take slightly longer.
The integrated pin remover allows easy removal of bridge pins on acoustic guitars, using the access hole on the secondary arm.
Two peg socket sizes are included for wider compatibility: 35 × 9.5 × 25 mm and 25 × 9.5 × 16 mm.
One size is designed for guitars and smaller instruments such as ukuleles, while the larger size fits bass guitar pegs. This makes the design more versatile across a wide range of instruments.
If you are looking for hand-winding, I have a great model for that too:
