For those of you like me who use the small SG90 Servos and ESC's for RC Airplanes/Boats etc, you will have probably come across the cheap servo testers that have that flimsy plastic cover which inevitably comes apart and needs to be glued back together again, also the connection details are really small, anyway I decided to have a go at designing and making a base and case for the tester to make things easier for myself and here is the result.
The Base features large digits making for far easier connectivity, the Select Switch on the case is embossed as well making mode selection a lot easier.
For those who wanted to? the front of the original plastic cover could be cut to size and using either double sided tape or glue could be adhered to the front of the case, I didn't need to do this but it is an option.
Assembly is easy, align the Servo tester pcb with the openings on the case, push on the potentiometer knob and line up with the base and push it together, its a snug fit but glue can be used as well to make more secure, once assembled it makes things a whole lot easier when testing Servos or ESC's.
This Servo Case and base could be used in conjunction with one of those Battery cases which hold 3 or 4 no AA Batteries, ideally with an on/off Switch like the one in the images, this is what I will do making for an easy go to set up, I will solder a couple of DuPont Cables onto the Positive and Negative wires for Servo Testing.
Thanks for Looking.
