Labrax 10" Rack – Modular Raised Hex Panel Set

These modular raised hex panels are designed specifically for the Labrax 3D-printed 10" rack, adding texture, airflow flexibility, and a clean, modern homelab aesthetic.

The panels feature a two-color, multi-material–friendly hex design, with a raised outer structure and recessed inner hex pattern. This adds depth and visual interest compared to flat panels, while still fitting cleanly into the Labrax rack ecosystem. Builders can freely mix solid and vented panels to balance appearance and airflow based on their setup.

In addition to side panels, matching top and bottom panels are included, with options for a solid panel or a standard 120mm fan mount for active cooling. All fan panels are designed to work with common 120mm fans.

Support is also included for 10U Extended Labrax builds, with both solid and vented extension panels so the visual style and airflow options remain consistent on larger racks. These panels have been designed to fit together with a v groove so that they act as one solid panel.

If the inner hex layer is printed using a translucent filament, the panels can be illuminated from inside the rack. With internal LEDs or ambient lighting, the hex pattern will glow subtly through the panels, creating a clean cyberpunk / homelab lighting effect without exposed light strips.

Files are provided and tested for both PLA and PETG, allowing you to choose between easier printing or improved heat resistance depending on your environment.
