This is a parametric open cable clamp generator, designed to solve a common annoyance found in classic closed clamps:
the need to remove the entire clamp just to replace a cable.

Thanks to the open hook cable slot, cables can be inserted and removed freely without dismounting the clamp from the tube, hose, or pipe. This makes cable swaps fast, clean, and frustration-free.

The clamp is fully customizable using MakerWorld’s “parametric” system. You can easily adjust the clamp size, cable diameter, arm thickness, and edge rounding to perfectly match your setup, whether you’re organizing cables on a vacuum hose, air duct, pipe, or any cylindrical object.

The geometry is kept simple, strong, and print-friendly, while fillets ensure smooth edges and a clean final look.

Available Parameters

• cutout_for_cable_entry - Controls the opening size for the cable entry slot. A larger cutout makes cable insertion easier, while a smaller one provides a tighter hold.
• clamp_inner_diam - Defines the inner diameter of the clamp. This determines the size of the tube, pipe, or hose the clamp wraps around.
• clamp_thickness - Controls the wall thickness of the clamp ring. A thicker clamp increases strength and rigidity, while a thinner one reduces material usage and allows more flexibility.
• cable_thickness -Sets the diameter of the cable, wire, or hose that will sit in the open hook.
• fillet_size - Controls the roundness of edges and corners for a smoother, more polished appearance.
  Recommended value: 2 mm if possible.
• extrusion_thickness - Defines the overall thickness (depth) of the clamp body, influencing durability and print strength. Defines also arm thickness.
