A parametric customisable base for standees or paper/cardstock (2d) printed miniatures, with differently coloured labels if desired.

Pre-configured profiles include 25mm and 50mm round bases with numbers, set up for use either with or WITHOUT AMS (using a pause and manual filament switching at the top of the base, so the labels and standee holder are in a different filament).

Standard customisable parameters are:

• Base size (diameter in mm)
• Base shape (Round, Square, or Rounded Square - a square with rounded corners)
• Number of bases
• Text label (note that it doesn't check that your text actually fits, so make sure you check the preview first)
• Text autonumbering (overrides the text label, and numbers the bases from 1 to however many bases you specified in Number of bases)
• Parts (All, Base only, or Text only - use Base only and Text only for separate exports for multicolour printing using AMS, with the text only in a different colour).
  • If you're doing custom ones, export once with Base only and once with Text only, and then load both models into Bambu studio at the same time as parts of a single object. Then, you can change the filament used for the base and the text separately as desired.

The text is above the base, so you can do a manual filament change at the layer above the flat top of the base, and the text and standee holders will be in a different colour (like I've done in some of the photos).

Advanced customisable parameters are:

• Base thickness (default 3mm)
• Base chamfer (default 15 degrees from vertical)
• Holder wall height (default 5mm)
• Holder gap (default 0.7mm - this works for most doubled up standard printer paper. If you have card or cardstock minis, you'll want to increase this gap)
• Max corner for rounded square bases (default 5mm)
• Text height (default 1mm)
• Text size (default 5)

The squares/rounded square options came about because for larger monsters, sometimes having a round base makes it unclear which tile squares a huge/gargantuan monster is actually taking up, so a square or rounded square base makes it much clearer.
