This 3d printable galley ship is inspired by the rowingboat simulation that I found as a you tube video posted by @3dcadpanda 

It's by far my most ambitious project jet! 

I had to refresh my knowledge of 3D design and learn to deal with the phenomenon of 3D printing, I only owned a 3D printer for two months at this moment.

It was my goal to create a working model that could be printed and assembled without any other parts like screws, springs, bearings, shafts etc.

But still showing a good representation of the rowing movements.

Instructions & Hardware

Written  assembly instructions are available in the separated document “Galley ship assembly instructions”. 

The model can be driven manual (crank is included in stl files).

For the best look and feel a motor drive can be connected (no adaptor included) To drive the model, about 3N/cm torque and 400 RPM on the drive shaft is needed

• Completely 3D Printable (No Hardware Required!)

• Primary Material Needed: 

  • PLA ( 4 colours optional)

• Screw-less Assembly

• Glue-less Assembly

• Minimum Build Volume: 256x256 mm

• AMS is not mandatory for production.
