⚖️ Load-Bearing & Usage Notes

This model is available in two variants:

🪶 Lightweight Version 🪶 
Designed for wall registers or floor vents where no load is expected. This version is optimized for airflow control and aesthetics. It is not load-bearing and should not be stepped on or placed under furniture legs. It can handle light incidental contact but is not intended to support body weight or sustained pressure.

🧱 Heavy Duty Version 🧱 
Designed for improved strength and durability compared to the lightweight version. While more robust, it is still not intended for continuous loads, heavy furniture, or regular foot traffic. It can tolerate occasional accidental steps or light loads, but should not be treated as a structural or walkable surface.

⚠️ Compatibility Notice
The Lightweight and Heavy Duty versions are not compatible with each other. Both halves must be printed from the same variant. The alignment pins are different between variants and cannot be mixed.

🌀 Modular Floor Vent Cover System 🌀

Designed to fit standard floor vents, this modular system gives you full control over airflow direction. Each vent prints in two separate halves, allowing you to mix and match airflow directions on either side for a truly customizable setup.

🔩 Easy Assembly
The halves friction-fit together using built-in alignment pins for accurate positioning. For long-term durability, using glue along with the pins is recommended.

🔄 Multiple Airflow Options
This collection includes all airflow directions plus a fully covered version:

• Cover the entire vent
• Block only one half
• Redirect airflow exactly where you need it
• Fits standard vent sizes 245mm X 93mm opening (9 ¾ in X 3 ¾ in)

Perfect for airflow management, unused vents, or room-specific comfort control.

🧭 Which model should you print?

All models are named and oriented assuming the right half of the vent. Available models:

📌 Example:
If you want to print two halves with airflow facing the same direction, print one “Top” and one “Bottom” model along with the “Alignment Pins”. When assembled, both halves will direct airflow upward or downward in the same direction.
