Notes for slicing:
- open the Parametric Model Maker
- change values until they match your ideal
- export as 3mf
- import into a slicer software
- right click onto the object → split → into objects
Unfortunately this seems to be the only way to properly do things right now.

This is a simple 3D-printable protective mount and diffuser for RGB LED strips. The current height isn't really calculated, so diffusion may not yet be fully optimized. Most parameters are straightforward to adjust but some are driven by the Rail_Tolerance variable, including all rail-related dimensions, the diffuser cutout height and the diffuser width.
The mounting holes are designed for standard M6 screws, while the screwless strip variant is intended for joining multiple segments together without additional fasteners.
Depending on printer tolerances, you might have to use sandpaper to adjust the rest and maybe fixate it using superglue.
On the electronics-side I used an ESP32 and an Sk6812 rgbw strip.
In the images above you can see two “versions” of the diffuser. One is protective and low profile, where you can see the leds. This works as a protective shell for indirect lighting. This version has a total height of about ~8-9mm.
The other version looks very smooth but will need a total height of around ~15mm.
