📏 Too big for the bed? No problem.
The A1 Mini is a fantastic machine, but its 180mm build plate limits the size of Gridfinity plates you can print in one go. A standard 9x2 baseplate is way too long to fit. This model solves that problem by splitting the grid into manageable sections that fit perfectly on the A1 Mini (or any smaller printer). Simply print the parts and glue them together (or place them side-by-side) to create your massive 9x2 storage area!

This is a highly optimized and efficient print.
- Material: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA… whatever you want
- Infill: 0% to 10% (Gridfinity baseplates don't need much infill, 2 walls are usually enough strength).
- Supports: None needed.
Plate Adhesion: Ensure a clean plate, as these are large flat surfaces.
💡 Why did I make this model?
I had a long, narrow space on my desk that was screaming for some organization. I calculated that a 9x2 grid would fit perfectly, but my A1 Mini just couldn't handle the length. I engineered this split version to solve the problem. Now I have the best of both worlds: compact printing and massive storage.
