Customizable Square Planter

Update 30-12-2025 I've printed several versions myself and added new pictures. 

I liked enabling ‘fuzzy skin’ in the slicer, on the smooth surface version 

version 3: Now the inner pot is placed on a separate build plate

version 2: Now you can select custom colors for Outerpot, Innerpot and Decoration Ribs.

A clean, modern square planter with a removable inner insert.
Fully customizable and designed for reliable FDM printing.

The model consists of:

• an outer planter (decorative shell) (plate 1)
• an inner insert with drainage holes (plate 2)

This setup helps prevent overwatering and makes plant care easier.

Customization

You can adjust:

• planter width and height
• wall thickness and corner radius
• rim depth and spacing between outer and inner pot
• optional rib width, spacing and corner clearance

Printing Notes

• Designed for standard FDM printers
• In most cases, the model prints well without supports
• When using a large rim drop, supports may be helpful depending on printer and settings
• Suitable for PLA, PETG and similar materials
