Mecha Origin-Zero Evolution

The original model provides a solid foundation with an efficient snap-fit system and a strong, well-defined visual identity. Its modular design makes it an excellent starting point for further development.

With this remix, the intention was to push the character toward a more humanoid look, while preserving the assembly and snap-fit principles that define the strength of the original model. Proportions, volumes, and articulations were reworked to achieve a more natural posture, a more cohesive silhouette, and more expressive poses, without betraying the original design’s spirit.

Printed without supports, assembled without glue.
Assembly follows the original project’s method, except for the new articulations.”

Assembly may require applying a bit more force on some snap-fit connections. This is intentional and ensures a secure fit, preventing the arms and legs from coming loose once assembled.

Make sure to properly clean your build plate. Use glue if needed to improve adhesion. The print should run without any issues.

Raised by 2 mm
Slight shoulder tilt
Back sculpting for a more natural posture

Arms

More robust upper arms
Improved visual continuity: the arms no longer feel “detached” from the body

Hips & Legs

Slimmed hips for a more humanoid look
Reinforced thighs for better presence and stability
Partially reworked knees:
- The original shape is preserved
- The joint has been redesigned to improve the connection with the foot
