This Fidget controller uses magnets with their polarity pushing against themselves to create a button effect that lasts forever and doesn't wear out like a spring. It has such a clicky feel, and I have had a lot of fun with different color combos like the NES-style controller or a Pikachu-themed controller using yellow.
I mainly print these controllers with PETG, as they last forever as a keychain. I use these magnets from KJ Magnetics (https://www.kjmagnetics.com/d42-n52-neodymium-disc-magnet) as they are super strong and give you a very nice feel for the “buttons”. Just make sure to insert the magnets so that the buttons and the magnets in the main housing are opposing each other.
A keyring is used to lock the two dovetailed portions together and prevent them from separating, but sometimes I just use a drop of superglue to lock them together for added strength.
Have fun and message me with any questions.
