Descrição

Modular Floor & Table Lamp — Sculptural Light with Natural Materials

This lamp is designed as a balance between soft geometry, warm light, and natural materials. The spiral texture diffuses light evenly, creating a calm, atmospheric glow, while the three-legged structure gives visual lightness and stability. The form is intentionally minimal, timeless, and adaptable to different interiors.

The construction is modular and well thought out. By simply changing the length of the legs, the lamp can be transformed from a table lamp into a full-height floor lamp. Assembly is straightforward and accessible, even for beginners.

Versions

  • Small version — optimized for Bambu Lab A1 mini
  • Large version — full-size floor lamp

Both versions share the same design language and assembly principles.

Dimensions & Hardware

  • Maximum height: ~1 meter (depending on leg length)
  • Legs: wooden dowel rods (beech or oak recommended)
  • Socket: E27
  • Light source: LED bulbs only
  • Power cable: standard E27 socket with cord
  • Legs diameter 25 mm OR 20 mm
  • Magnets (8 pcs required):
    • 5x2 mm for the 25 mm version
    • 3x2 mm for the 20 mm version

Print Settings (Important)

The models are designed to be printed exactly with the provided print settings.
Changing slicer parameters, wall counts, infill, layer height, or any other print settings is strictly not recommended, as it may negatively affect strength, fit, and overall appearance of the lamp.

Light Recommendations

  • Below 25 W (LED equivalent): creates a soft, beautiful night lamp with ambient light
  • Above 25 W (LED equivalent): works as a full floor lamp capable of lighting a room

Important for the small version (Bambu Lab A1 mini):
Due to height limitations, you must use a compact E27 LED bulb. Standard-size bulbs will not fit.

Safety Note

Only LED bulbs are recommended.
Bulbs that generate heat (incandescent, halogen, etc.) are not recommended, and I take no responsibility for their use.

PLA and PETG plastics are completely safe with LED bulbs — even with direct proximity. This has been tested in practice.

Assembly Tips

  • For best strength and durability, glue the legs where they connect to the lamp body
  • Wood glue or strong universal glue works well
  • This significantly improves stability and long-term reliability

Color Recommendations

For the main body, pastel tones work best:

  • beige
  • white
  • milky white
  • ivory

For the top part, choose according to taste, but avoid overly bright or saturated colors.

Keep in mind: perfect color harmony is achieved only through experimentation. Trying different filament combinations is part of the creative process.

Update: Version 2.0

I have updated the model and added a second version with several improvements:

  • Hidden Cable Management: The main highlight of this version is the integrated wire routing. The power cord now passes neatly through the internal structure of the lamp, removing visual clutter and giving the design a much cleaner, professional look.
  • Minor Refinements: Small structural adjustments have been made to ensure a more precise fit of the components and improved overall stability.

When printing Version 2.0, please follow the same recommended print settings and material guidelines as the original version.

Update: Version 3.0

What’s new in this version:

Improved Stability: I have increased the depth of the mounting holes in the top cap. This ensures the stems sit much more securely. Recommendation: I still suggest using a small drop of glue for a rock-solid assembly.
Refined Threads: The screw threads have been updated with an additional 0.1mm tolerance. Everything now screws together perfectly and smoothly.
Redesigned Magnetic Base: The bottom honeycomb cover is now split into two parts: a mounting ring (which you glue to the base) and the honeycomb decorative plate. This modular design allows you to easily access the bulb or socket for maintenance without breaking or disassembling the lamp.
Magnetic Snap-Fit: Both parts now feature slots for 5x2mm magnets (4 magnets per part, 8 total). I chose a 4-magnet layout instead of 2 to ensure a perfect, flush fit with no sagging or visible gaps.
Reinforced Construction: The new mounting ring adds extra rigidity to the lower section of the lamp, making the entire structure significantly stronger.

Important Note on Magnets:
When gluing the magnets into the recesses, please double-check their polarity! Make sure they attract each other before the glue sets so the physics works as intended.

----------------------------------------------------------

Update: Version 4.0

Due to popular demand, I have added two print profiles that feature hidden magnets and an improved shape for the bottom part.
Since I have already printed over 50 floor lamps, I have finalized and perfected the shape of the bottom piece.
Thank you to everyone who prints this and leaves feedback.
That's it. No further changes are planned!

- During printing, the printer will pause at the designated layer so you can add a drop of glue and insert the 4 magnets.
- Make sure to double-check the polarity of the magnets to avoid any mistakes!
