A quick and simple test to check your printer's cooling and bridging performance. Bridges range from short to long distances.
This simple calibration model is designed to test your 3D printer's ability to print bridges (horizontal layers over thin air) without supports.
It helps you tune your cooling fan speed, print temperature, and bridging speed.
How to use:
- Print the model (use the settings below).
- Inspect the undersides of the bridges.
- Evaluate:
- Perfect: The bottom strands are straight and tight.
- Sagging: If the strands droop, you may need to increase cooling, lower the nozzle temperature, or slow down the bridge speed in your slicer.
- Failed: If the bridge collapses, check if "Detect Bridging" is enabled in your slicer.
