Saltwater Coral Frag Plug Mat – Batch Print

This STL is a full build-plate “frag plug mat” designed to crank out a big batch of saltwater frag plugs in one print. Every plug is the same size and designed to fit standard frag racks / egg crate, so you don’t have to worry about mixed sizes or poor fit.

You can use the mat as-is for curing/soaking, or simply cut/snap the plugs apart as you need them.

Printing

• Recommended materials:
  • PETG or reef-safe resin (best for long-term saltwater use)
  • PLA/PLA+ possible for short-term or low-heat systems (use at your own discretion)
• Layer height: 0.16–0.2 mm
• Infill: 100% (solid for strength and longevity)
• Walls/perimeters: 3+
• Print flat on the bed; no supports needed

Usage Notes

• Rinse thoroughly and, if possible, let plugs soak/cycle before adding coral
• You can lightly sand or score the top for extra texture and better adhesion
• Designed for saltwater frag systems and reef tanks
