Hello! I’m sharing this simple but functional model — a shelf for storage beds that requires no supports, thanks to its chamfered inner design in the storage compartment.

I looked for bed shelves but couldn’t find any that stayed in place under the weight of the mattress on a storage bed — all the ones I found were for wooden beds with edges.

The design is simple and practical. I made it strong enough to hold a phone, headphones, and maybe a pair of glasses — handy for quick access and turning off the alarm.

Matte colors are recommended; I printed mine in red to make the part stand out for the post.

The profile was designed with a conservative approach:

• Print speed was drastically reduced to prevent any movement or detachment from the print bed.
• Layer height: 0.20 mm.
• No supports required, thanks to the internal chamfer design.
• Matte colors are recommended; I printed mine in red to make the part stand out for the post.
• Strength has been optimized to minimize filament usage — as printed, it easily supports a weight of up to 300 g.
