I created this small desktop tool holder specifically to hold a set of 8 watch crown winders manufactured by Kwong Yuen with tool handle diameter of 9mm. You use them to grip the crown on a watch to wind it or to let down the power when working on a watch, and I wanted a way to keep them organized upright on my watchmaking bench. The tool holder model should accommodate many other kinds of tool with similar cylindrical shape.

I used an LLM to generate an OpenSCAD file, which I then converted to STL and later 3MF to print on my P1S. I've included all three files in case others want something slightly different than I've provided. The parameters in the OpenSCAD file should be self-explanatory, but you can change the diameter of the tool, the additional clearance diameter in excess of tool diameter, the height/depth of the tool into the holder, the number of rows, and the number of columns. This should scale up or down for a diverse count of tools. Plenty of other dimensions are configurable, as well.

I printed mine with PETG-HF on a P1S with 20% gyroid infill, 4 walls, and 0.2mm layers on a 0.4mm nozzle.

There's nothing particularly special about this tool holder, but I wanted to share it in case others found something useful for their needs.
