-Launch rod/skewer, you will need to make some guide rings. Look it up. 

-BIG open area. (Any wind and they glide hundreds of feet.  

-A single C6-3 Estes model rocket motor:

I believe that most Estes C6 rockets have the same dimensions, so compare the dimensions of your different rocket motor to the C6-3's dimensions.
