Modular Atom Model (Hydrogen to Argon)
This 3D-printed modular atom model is designed for education, demonstrations, and hands-on STEM activities. The system allows you to assemble atomic structures from Hydrogen (Z=1) up to Argon (Z=18) using interchangeable electron orbits and colored particles representing protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Included Components
- Fixed orbital rings
- Electrons (red spheres) – placed on the orbital rings.
- Protons and neutrons (white and blue spheres) – located inside the nucleus.
- Stable base – supports the entire structure and keeps the model upright.
Nucleus Sphere
The nucleus is formed using a transparent Christmas ornament ball (80 mm diameter for bigger one and 60 mm diameter for A1 Mini model). It opens easily, allowing you to place the protons and neutrons inside. The clear shell keeps the nucleus fully visible during demonstrations.
Purpose
- Perfect for classrooms, labs, workshops, and science presentations.
- Great for visualizing atomic structure, electron configuration, and orbital arrangement.
- Excellent for STEM learning, chemistry lessons, and interactive models of the periodic table.
Advantages
- Fully modular – assemble, disassemble, and configure atoms up to Z=18 with ease.
- Durable and classroom-friendly – designed for repeated handling.
- Visually engaging – simplifies abstract concepts and supports active learning.
