Reusable 3D Printed Christmas Cracker – Refillable with Optional Paper Snap

Tired of flimsy single-use crackers that end up in the bin five minutes after Christmas dinner? This reusable cracker is designed to come out year after year. When constructed they open with a satisfying pop, but you can also add a paper bang by inserting the paper end through the middle of the cracker and folding the end back into the cracker 

This modern, geometric cracker prints as two push-together halves, so you can open it, refill it and close it again. There is space inside for your own small gifts, sweets, vouchers or terrible jokes, and it is designed so you can add a standard paper bang strip if you still want the traditional “pop”. It prints with no supports but you can add supports if you want a cleaner print. 

To construct push the connector into one side of the cracker, then push the other side onto the connector. The fit is very snug so it can take some wiggling, the fit loosens with use so if it's too tight it might need a few pops to get it moving. 

This is the first version of this print, it's intentionally plain to allow for decoration. 

The torn ended cracker might be a little too spiky, please take care when pulling.
