I spent to much time designing this.  I wanted a compact mount for my old Surface Pro 4 to sit on the edge of my gaming table.  The old tablet has been perfect for running D&D Sessions. The table edge was only 120mm, so the kick stand wasn't much help.  

This stand is to hold the Surface in a more vertical orientation on a table or counter, so it may be utilized in tablet mode. It allows for almost the full range of motion from the kickstand. There is a cutout on the back to slot in the power supply, and an integrated slot for the Velcro strap to tie off the excess cord.  The USB charging port on the power supply remains accessible. It is compatible with the Surface Type Cover, however I use a small Bluetooth keyboard myself due to the space constraints where I have it sitting.

The stand is primarily three parts, two of witch (the stand, and locking key) contain sub assemblies for the decorate Microsoft logo, so they may be printed in a separate color if desired.  The Bottom Ring is optional and is only used to provide a more flush looking finish if attaching a base material, like cork or rubber mating for better grip.

Stand

The stand is slotted to accept the kickstand on the back of the Surface, and a cutout for the power supply. The stand is not designed to be used without the power supply inserted into the cutout, this is needed to provide stability for the tablet.  Four sub assembly parts are part of the stand, 12mm by .6mm squares inset into the top surface.  These make up the decorative logo. They are already pre-colored in the .3mf file, change as desired.  If set to the same color/filament you will get a flush finish with no logo.  These may also be deleted to leave a .6mm negative of the logo. 

Locking Key

Slots in between the kickstand and power supply, and locks the entire assembly together.  As with the Stand it contains a logo element that may be altered as described above. 

The Ring (optional)

The Ring is1mm by 5mm and is slotted to align with the bottom of the stand, I made this so that a grippy material of some kind may be cut and glued to the bottom. The ring may then be used to cover the edges of the material to provide for a more clean appearance. I used a toolbox liner that measured 1.6mm thick, If using a thicker material, expand the ring in the negative Z axis as necessary, you want the ring to be about .5mm shorter then the material you are using for the base.

NOTE on the Logo

If not using the .3mf profile, and instead using the raw .stl, in bamboo lab you must split the model into parts.  Then they may be deleted/colored as desired. Otherwise it will be sliced as a single component without being able to add in the logo.  Also, I'm not affiliated with Microsoft, I just thought it looked nice on the otherwise empty space.

Printing

It printed with the default PLA Basic settings just fine during prototyping.  On the final run I used PETG HF in white, and PETG Translucent for the logo. Default settings, except I increased the infill to 36% for the overall weight to be about 100g, and unassay step as the whole assembly was never unstable.

Compatibility

Only tested on the Surface Pro 4 (2015 model).  I do not know if they changed the power brick in the past 10 years, I've seen the current ones at the store and they look about the same, so any surface model that uses the power brick with the magnetic connector should be compatible, measure it to be safe. The OEM PSU I have is 93.6mm x 25.3mm. I did leave about a .4mm margin in the slot.  The Surface Pro 4  kickstand is 2.5mm thick at the metal edge.
