Here's my version of a Christmas ball. A satisfying version, it creates a fantastic visual and acoustic effect.

It is printed on site; I kept the correct dimensions so that our friends with smaller print beds could print it.

Redesigned with several improvements (New print profiles available)

Main improvements: 
Thanks to the success of the project, now featured on MakerWorld, I decided to refine it further:

-Elephant foot removed

-Redesigned linear guides

-Wider sliding range with optimized offsets

-Larger, beveled sliding pins

-Greater overall robustness

New available sizes: 
At the community’s request, I created smaller versions of the Christmas Ball. Four additional diameters are now available:

Diameter:    
60 mm    2.36 in
70 mm    2.76 in
80 mm    3.15 in
90 mm    3.54 in
100 mm    3.94 in

Additional features: 
Another interesting request concerned the possibility of coloring the ball in layers. For this reason, I’ve provided the .3mf files with the four separate bodies:
