1kg Silver Bar Storage Box – 10-Slot (3D Printed)

This model is a custom 3D-printed container box designed to hold up to 10 silver bars, each with a maximum size of 120 mm (L) × 56 mm (W) × 16 mm (H).

Printing Details

• All parts are printable using PLA filament.
• In my own build, I used:
  • Black for the main box parts
  • Red for the internal bottom insert, the top pattern, and the front text
• The text is printed separately. You can transfer it using tape and glue it letter by letter.

Separate Pattern Pieces (Better Quality)

• The internal pattern for the lid and the bottom insert are included as separate STL files.
• Printing them separately gives a much cleaner and more detailed result.
• After printing, you can assemble everything using superglue, BUT avoid any glue that causes white frosting residue.
  • Recommended: resin-based transparent glue, commonly available in any supermarket.

Simplified Version (Single-Color Print)

• If you don’t want multi-color printing, you can delete the pattern bodies inside Bambu Studio and print the box as a simple one-color version with no inserts, patterns, or text.

Hardware Needed

• M3 screws
  • 4 × [M3x40]
  • 2 × [M3x45]

Assembly

• After printing, simply position the lid, place the patterns and text, and glue all parts carefully.
• Ensure the spacing and alignment for the bar slots before fastening the screws.
