This is an iPad stand originally designed with a 60° viewing angle for a maximum iPad thickness of 6mm.

As it became more popular, I added multiple versions with different dimensions:

• 6.5mm & 60° (original for use without cover)
• 7.5mm & 60° (for use with tempered glass protection but without a cover)
• 9.0mm & 60° (for use with cover < 9mm)

• 15.0mm & 60° (for use with touch folio keyboard)

   

• 6.5mm & 70° (with a steeper viewing angle)
• 7.5mm & 70° (with a steeper viewing angle)
• 9.0mm & 70° (with a steeper viewing angle)
• 15.0mm & 70° (with a steeper viewing angle)

Later I also wanted to play around with organic forms. 

First I created the iPad stand (organic version) that was a bit more time consuming to model, so only the original dimensioned version is available. After that I played around with topological optimization and was able to generate organic forms that were also parametric leading to the iPad stand (topologic optimized version).
