Mount for Digital Micrometer – Multiboard Wall System

I designed this custom-fit holder for my digital micrometer — a great and affordable model available on Amazon (link below).
The tool was always lying around on my workbench, which annoyed me, so I created a Multiboard-compatible wall mount to keep it organized and within easy reach.

The holder attaches to the Multiboard adapter and is secured with a M3 × 12 mm screw and nut.

Material Recommendation

• PLA is recommended (perfectly sufficient for indoor use)
• For increased durability or load, PLA+ can also be used

Assembly

1. Insert the M3 × 12 mm screw through the front of the holder.
2. Place the holder onto the Multiboard adapter.
3. Insert the M3 nut from the back and tighten hand-tight.
4. Clip or slide the digital micrometer into the holder — done!

Notes

• The holder is designed to securely grip the micrometer so it won’t fall out.
• It helps keep your workspace neat and ensures your measuring tool is always ready to use.
