Modelo 3D Brass: Birmingham complete box inserts por Jonathan no MakerWorld

Descrição

My first upload to MakerWorld, this is a complete insert for Brass: Birmingham (standard edition). There are others on here from which I drew inspiration but I wanted to design my own. The set of inserts fits perfectly inside the standard box, on top of the main board and the player boards. The resource and coin trays are a little deeper and fit next to the player mats, and the other trays go on top of the player mats.

The card trays and the merchant tiles are separated by player count to make it easier if you play with different player counts - you just need to separate the cards at the end of the game, as shown on the cards themselves (same for the merchant tiles although as there are only 9 of these it's less important).

The card tray has some spare room but it is not designed to accommodate sleeved cards, and probably won't be big enough for that. There woudn't be enough depth for the 2-player cards to be sleeved and fit into the available depth, so if you wanted to use this for sleeved cards it would be necessary to deepen the other two trays and have two trays for the 2-player cards, and a single tray for the 3- and 4-player cards together. If anyone would like that, let me know and I can make a new version of the card tray. Alternatively, you could put some of the 2-player cards in the tray for wilds & player aids which has spare space, and that might be enough. Please comment below if you have sleeved cards and try this out.

I welcome any comments on this set of inserts. I've tried to make it very easy for game setup and use, with cutouts and rounded trays where relevant to facilitate taking things out. I've also marked many of the trays with text or player counts - I decided just to use indented text and images for this rather than make the trays 2-colour prints; I suspect that they are too small to print well with a standard nozzle.

Obviously some of these are open trays but I think this will be OK stored on its side anyway. The box is quite snug and I don't think anything will fall out. I suggest putting the rulebook on top of the inserts to help with this (otherwise it can go under the player mats).

I welcome comments, particularly as this is my first upload!
