Hey everyone! Check out this super fun modular base for blind box figures – it’s designed to connect together in endless ways! 🧱→🧱
You only need two types of standard pieces: one for horizontal expansion, and one for vertical stacking. (Take a look at the GIFs attached to see how they snap together!)
It’s perfectly sized for standard blind box figures.
The photos I’ve shared are just to inspire you, but I can’t wait to see what YOU create! Mix and match to build a base that fits YOUR favorite figures. 😊
The base in the pictures was printed using Kexcelled’s wood-fill filament. The last two photos show how it looks after adding text with a X TOOL-F1 2W laser – super clean! If you’ve got a laser, give it a try. (88% Power 40mm/s Speed)
🖨️ Before You Print:
Make sure to print the test model first! (There are two preset profiles for different materials – pick the one that matches your filament.)Once you’ve got the test piece:
- Check if the connection feels snug and holds well.
- The design uses a lot of bridging, so make sure those sections print smoothly. A well-printed bridge should look like the example photo.

⚙️ Print Settings:
We’ve included two print profiles: one for Bambu Lab’s standard PLA Basic, and one optimized for Kexcelled’s wood-fill PLA.👉 Important: The wood-fill profile has a slightly looser fit to improve handling – don’t mix them up, or your pieces might not hold together well!If you’re NOT using an A1 mini, avoid the A1 mini profile – it doesn’t include a brim, which is needed for stability on larger printers.
➕ Plus:
The back of each horizontal expansion piece has slots designed for ST3 self-tapping screws. Securing your base if you want it to stay put!
