The Magical Bowmaker
Why go out and buy one when you can make one that even works better!
Prints on a total of 5 plates, which includes the convenient storage box. The bow maker itself prints on 2 plates. VERY little poop!
What really sets this apart from what you can buy is the extension of the bow spool holder (adjustable by easily removable parts) and the way the spacing takes place between the bows (from ¼ inch to 1 inch)
Easily goes together with above photos for a guide - although you probably don't even need those.
The only parts that need glued are the box, both the top and bottom half (can't go bigger than 10 inches on a A1 after all).
Instructions on how to use a bowmaker can be found just by searching “how to use a bowmaker”.
A final note here: As some people may know, printing a tube vertically is weak and has a tendency to break easily. I have done a few things to the rods to make them stronger, but they could still break. If that happens (they have not broke for my wife yet) or if you don't want to take the chance of it happening, the holes for the rods are ½ inch - so you can cut a nice doll rod into sections to get a stronger rod.
And finally, a huge shout-out to my wife who gave this a LOT of testing!
