Magnetwürfel – neu entwickelt und kompatibel mit IDMyron Design

Dieser Magnetwürfel wurde komplett neu entwickelt, inspiriert von der ursprünglichen Idee von IDMyron, und gezielt verbessert, um Stabilität, Haltbarkeit und Montagefreundlichkeit zu erhöhen.

Durch die neue Konstruktion in zwei präzise passgenauen Hälften lässt sich der Würfel nach dem Druck sicher und sauber zusammenfügen – ohne Kleben und ohne Risiko, dass sich Magnete lösen.

Hatte leider immer wieder das Problem das die Oberen Magneten sich lösten und am Druckkopf hingen.

Nun ist das vorbei.

Wesentliche Verbesserungen

🔒 Sicherer Halt der Magnete

• Alle 8 Magnete sind so angeordnet, dass sie während des Druckvorgangs stabil auf der Druckplatte haften.
• Nach dem Zusammenstecken sitzen sie dauerhaft fest im Inneren – kein Verrutschen, kein Herausfallen.

🧩 Zweiteiliges Steck-Design

• Zwei optimal aufeinander abgestimmte Hälften.
• Einfacher Zusammenbau ohne zusätzlichen Aufwand.

🎮 Minecraft-kompatibel

• Das Design ist kompatibel mit verschiedenen Minecraft-Block-Oberflächen, die nach dem Zusammenbau einfach auf den Würfel geklebt werden können.
• Würfelmaße 26x26x26mm
• Ideal für kreative Projekte, Spielelemente oder dekorative Sammlerstücke.

Verwendete Magnete:

• Pro Cube 8 Magneten
• Magnetkugeln 5mm von Neocube im 1000er Pack (diese sind viel viel Günstiger im Einkauf als die bisher verwendeten 6mm Kugeln)
• Magnetkraft ist natürlich geringer als bei 6mm Durchmesser aber meines erachtens nach noch ausreichend.

Magnetic Cube – Newly Developed and Compatible with IDMyron’s Design

This magnetic cube has been completely redeveloped, inspired by the original idea from IDMyron, and specifically improved to enhance stability, durability, and ease of assembly.

With the new construction using two precisely fitting halves, the cube can be assembled cleanly and securely after printing – without glue and without the risk of magnets coming loose.

I often had the problem that the upper magnets detached and stuck to the printhead.
That issue is now solved.

Key Improvements

🔒 Secure Magnet Retention

• All 8 magnets are arranged so that they remain stable on the print bed throughout the printing process.
• After assembling the two halves, the magnets sit firmly inside – no shifting, no falling out.

🧩 Two-Part Snap Design

• Two perfectly matched halves.
• Easy assembly with no additional effort required.

🎮 Minecraft Compatible

• The design is compatible with various Minecraft block surface designs, which can be applied to the cube after assembly.
• Cube dimensions: 26 × 26 × 26 mm
• Ideal for creative projects, game elements, or decorative collectibles.

Magnets Used

• 8 magnets per cube
• 5 mm neodymium magnetic spheres from Neocube (1000-pack) – much cheaper than the previously used 6 mm spheres
• Magnetic strength is naturally lower with 5 mm diameter, but still perfectly sufficient in my experience.
